Training Philosophy
Certified ARIA (American Riding Instructor Association) equestrian Trainer RACHEL VEED, is located in Kiowa, Colorado. She is an accredited Dressage, Eventing, & Show Instructor who has successfully run an equine training center for over 16 Years in Las Cruces. Her students have ranged from 4 year old beginners to fourth level adult amateurs, who have gained recognition in local as well as regional shows. Her methods of teaching have been learned through the most highly skilled and successful professional in our nation such as John Lyons, Monty Roberts, Mary Wanless, Kyra Kirkland, Pat Parrelli, and others. Rachel not only follows equine natural methods, but also teaches others through extraordinary communication methods used and developed over the course of many years.

Rachel uses her lifelong experience for establishing and producing responses from equines that is amazing to watch. She is highly experienced at working with ranch, show and pleasure horses. She has started foals for several highly regarded professionals. She herself has successfully trained and shown her own warmbloods in many regional shows. Her belief in proper communication, whether human or in equine language, is of foremost importance to her. Confusion coincides with misbehavior in her book. Clarity and physical ability will lead to an overall pleasing execution. She believes any horse and rider pair can accomplish reasonable goals set forth. Rachel is available to train, teach, coach or to evaluate equine prospects.
